Costa Toscana
MEYER TURKU delivered the ocean liner to Costa Crociere in 2021. It’s the sister ship of Costa Smeralda, which has been cruising through the oceans since 2019.
A considerable amount of cutting-edge technology has gone into the construction of Costa Toscana. The vessel is powered by liquefied natural gas at the port and at sea. LNG is the world’s cleanest fossil fuel, which makes our drive system a key milestone on the road to greater sustainability. It prevents the release of particulate matter and sulphur oxides while substantially reducing the emission of nitrogen oxides and carbon dioxide.
Costa Toscana is inspired by Italian art, culture and landscapes – guests receive first-class ship design with premium sports facilities, spa treatments and entertainment. It is one of the largest ocean liners in the world, measuring 337 metres in length with over 6,554 passengers.
