Viking XPRS
Viking XPRS was built at the former Finnish shipyard, now MEYER TURKU, and delivered on 28 April 2008. The large ferry travelled back and forth between Helsinki and Tallinn until 2014, when the ship began to fly the Estonian flag.
Viking XPRS is comfortable and quick – it only takes the ro-ro ferry two and a half hours to travel between the Finnish and Estonian capitals. Passengers can choose from different cabin types – from inside cabins for people with limited mobility to cabins for two people with a double bed and sea view. The red and white ferry also features various bars, restaurants and shops – and lots of comfortable armchairs in front of large panoramic windows.
Viking XPRS can accommodate 2,500 passengers and has a 1A ice class rating, which means the ferry can also travel in adverse ice conditions.
