Ilmatar

After the Finnish shipyard, now MEYER TURKU, had been commissioned to build yard number 375 for FÅA (Finska Ångfartygs AB) in 1962, Ilmatar was delivered in 1964. The car and passenger ship was initially used along the Helsinki – Turku – Stockholm route.

In 1978, Ilmatar returned to the shipyard in Turku to be extended and converted into a cruise ship. It was scrapped in the Dominican Republic in 2014. It was known as “Palm Beach Princess” at the time.
